Amy has been practicing public accounting with the Firm since 1991. She started with the firm as an intern during the tax season and became a full-time employee following tax season. Then, she earned her CPA certificate in the spring of 1992. In 2006, Amy became a manager of the Firm and was admitted to the partnership in 2009. When the Firm acquired the Forrest location, Amy became the partner in charge of that office.
Amy oversees the bookkeeping and payroll departments of the firm. She has been an integral part of implementing the consistent procedures for those departments. Amy’s areas of expertise include assurance and income tax preparation and planning.
Amy also specializes in audits of employee benefits plans, accounting and taxation services for small businesses and individuals. She believes in helping clients reach their business and personal goals by sound application of business and accounting principles.
Amy earned a Business Associate degree from Kankakee Community College and transferred to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Amy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
Dale L. Gerretse

Dale has been actively involved in providing tax compliance, tax planning and accounting advisory services to businesses and individuals for almost 40 years. He works with local non-profit and governmental entities with their accounting, tax compliance and assurance needs. Prior to joining the firm in 1988, Dale practiced public accounting in Chicago and the suburbs. He spent several years as the controller of a closely held manufacturing corporation.
Dale draws on his diverse experience to help clients navigate through the financial challenges they encounter.
Dale is a lifelong resident of Kankakee County. He volunteers for many community and church organizations. He is a past board member of Options Center for Independent Living, Kiwanis Club of Kankakee and Hundred Club of Kankakee County. Dale taught as an adjunct professor of accounting at Olivet Nazarene University.
Dale received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois State University in 1981. He earned his Certified Public Accounting certification in 1981. Dale is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
